The King & Ky Carry Cavs To Game 5 Win


(Oakland, CA) -- Dominant performances from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving ensured the Cavaliers would see another day. LeBron James went for 41 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in Cleveland's win 112-97 over the Warriors in Game Five of the NBA Finals at ORACLE Arena. Kyrie Irving also put up 41 points on 17-of-24 shooting, including 12 in the fourth quarter. Cleveland trails 3-to-2 in the series and will host Game Six on Thursday at home. Klay Thompson piled up 37 points and hit six threes, while Stephen Curry added 25 points. Golden State cooled off in the second half, going 3-of-21 from three after being tied at 61 going into halftime. The Warriors were without Draymond Green, who was suspended due to an accumulation of flagrant foul points across the playoffs.
