Florida Gator Attack Leaves Child Missing
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The sheriff in Orange County, Florida, says teams will continue searching for a 2-year-old boy who was dragged into a lagoon by an alligator in Orlando near the shores of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Tuesday night.
Sheriff Jerry Demings says the boy's family was on vacation from Nebraska and was wading in a lake Tuesday evening when the attack happened.
The father tried to save the boy but was unsuccessful.
