Robinson Visits Seahawks For Tryout

(Renton, WA) -- The Seattle Seahawks are kicking the tires on former NBA player and one-time Washington Huskies defensive back Nate Robinson. He had a tryout with the team on Monday. Robinson gave up on football after his freshman year with Washington and went on to be a first-round draft pick in the NBA in 2005. He had two interceptions in 13 games as a freshman in 2002, but focused solely on basketball the next spring. Washington played for eight different NBA teams during his career and won the Slam Dunk contest three times. He expressed his desire to play football again in a YouTube video earlier this spring.
