Apple In Talks To Buy Tidal
We all remember the blockbuster deal between Apple and Beats Music owners Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine that netted $3 billion dollars, well another rap icon could soon follow suit.
Apple is reportedly in early talks to buyout Jay Z's Tidal music streaming service.
People familiar with the talks tell the "Wall Street Journal" that Apple is exploring the idea of integrating Tidal into its Apple Music service. The tech giant's interest in Tidal stems from its links to big name artists like Kanye West, Beyoncé and Madonna.
Because the talks are still in their early stages, it's possible that a deal won't come out of the talks.
