Booker Vetted As Possible VP Candidate
New Jersey Senator Cory Booker may be in the running to be Hilary Clinton's running mate. Instead of denying that the Clinton Campaign is even looking in his direction, he told CNN over the weekend they need to ask them about him being Clinton's running mate. This is a big change from a month ago when he reportedly told MSNBC that he wasn't being vetted.
CNN says one factor that potentially could work against Booker is that he's from a state with a Republican governor, meaning his seat in the Senate would almost certainly be replaced by a Republican were he to be elected vice president.
