The Next Iron Man To Feature African American Female
The Marvel universe just got more diverse. The next Iron Man is Riri Williams, a 15-year-old black girl who's a genius and built her red suit of armor in her dorm room. Riri will join Iron Man after her homemade suit catches the attention of Tony Stark, the original Iron Man. It's unclear if Riri will be called Iron Man, but sources say she's coming up with her own super hero name. Experts say Riri's character reflects the comic industry making strides to expand its default superhero type, which is normally a straight, white male.
