Williams Ties Graf With Win At Wimbledon

Serena Williams is now tied with Steffi Graf for the second most Grand Slam singles titles after winning the Wimbledon final on Saturday in England. The American beat Germany's Angelique Kerber 7-5, 6-3 to avenge a loss in this year's Australian Open final. Williams also teamed up with her sister Venus to win their sixth Wimbledon doubles title. The sisters improved to 14-and-0 in major doubles finals by beating Timea Babos and Yaroslava Shvedova 6-3, 6-4. This is Serena's second straight Wimbledon singles title and seventh overall. The 22 Grand Slam singles titles are tied for most in the Open era, and second overall behind Margaret Court's 24. Both Venus and Serena plan to complete in singles and doubles at the Summer Olympics in Brazil.
