Former Texas A&M Standout And Wife Murdered 16 Year Old Son Charged
Former Texas A&M linebacker Antonio Armstrong and his wife Dawn are dead after being shot and killed early Friday morning.
The couple's 16-year-old son has been charged with murder and is currently in juvenile custody. Armstrong played for the Aggies between 1991 and 1994, and led the Southwestern Conference in sacks his senior season. After being drafted by the 49ers in 1995, he suited up in four games for the Dolphins before finishing his pro career in the Canadian Football League.
Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin offered his condolences in a statement.
