Tebow Attempts To Take His Talents To MLB
Sometimes the "Sports Gods" have a way of blessing us in the most unbelievable manner and this is one of those stories that will have legs for the next few weeks.
We first witnessed Michael Jordan's failed attempt and now we'll all be witnesses as Tim Tebow tries his hand at playing professional baseball.
The former Heisman Trophy winner plans to hold a workout for MLB teams this month; Tebow last played organized baseball in high school.
ESPN first reported the news.
Agent Brodie Van Wagenen, the co-head of CAA Baseball, said in a statement that the workout is not a publicity stunt.
Tebow won the 2007 Heisman and two national championships with the University of Florida and was drafted in the first round by the Denver Broncos in in 2010.
