FSU Student Found Eating Face Of Murder Victim

A Florida sheriff says he's never seen a more grisly crime scene than what he saw at a Jupiter-area home Monday night. Martin County Sheriff William Snyder says a husband and wife were stabbed to death and arriving deputies found the accused attacker biting off portions of the dead husband's face. Authorities say 19-year-old Florida State Student Austin Harrouff stabbed the man and his wife to death. A neighbor who called 9-1-1 and tried to help was also wounded. That man was taken to a hospital, where he's expected to survive. Snyder says Harrouff is in critical condition, possibly from something he ingested. Snyder says before the attack, Harrouff was eating dinner with his family when he stormed off after he got angry about slow service. Snyder says he doesn't believe Harrouff knew the victims.

Although initial toxicology screens were negative, police suspect Harrouff was under the influence of drugs.
