Man Facing Jail Time For Dumping Beer
A Southern California man could spend a year behind bars for dumping out beer bottles and putting some other sort of substance in them.
San Diego officials say Eduardo Cossio bought beer and then returned it to the stores after dumping out the suds and replacing them with something else. He did it at retailers like Target and Walmart in 2015 and last year. Cossio pled guilty this week to felony counts and will be sentenced in early October.
Authorities have not disclosed what Cossio did to the beer.
