Lawyers: Mosby Lawsuit Should Be Dismissed
Lawyers for Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby are claiming she can't be sued just for doing her job. They asked a judge Friday to throw out a lawsuit filed against her by five police officers involved in Freddie Gray's death. The officers are suing Mosby for knowingly filing false charges against them.
Mosby's attorneys say a prosecutor's actions to bring charges is absolutely immune from a civil claim for damages.
