Homeless Woman Receives 100k In Back Social Security Payments
A homeless woman in Washington, DC, says she wasn't crazy and the federal government did indeed owe her more than 100-thousand-dollars.
Wanda Witter spent years wandering around DC with suitcases containing paperwork proving the government owed her a whole lot of money in Social Security payments. It took a long time but a lawyer finally went through her paperwork about nine months ago and found out she was correct.
Things are looking much brighter for the 80-year-old, she says almost the entire amount she was owed is in her bank account this week and more is coming.
