Cowboys Get Bad News Romo Out 6 To 10 Weeks
It turns out the injury Tony Romo sustained in Thursday's preseason game is a bit more serious than originally believed.
An MRI revealed a broken bone in Romo's back and the Cowboys quarterback is expected to miss 6 to 10 weeks, according to reports. Owner Jerry Jones had initially said Romo's back soreness would not limit his ability to be ready for the September 11 season opener against the Giants, but based off the reported timetable, October 30 against the Eagles Week 8, after Dallas' bye seems more realistic.
