Show Us Your Face Tony... LaRussa Takes On Kaepernick

Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa says he questions the sincerity of the national anthem protests of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The current Arizona Diamondbacks executive tells ESPN Radio that he was in the Bay Area when Kaepernick first became a star and saw him do nothing but promote himself. Now, La Russa says Kaepernick is a second-stringer and all of the sudden has this mission. The longtime Oakland A's and St. Louis Cardinals skipper says even if Kaepernick is sincere, there are ways to express your beliefs without disrespecting the country you live in or the flag that it represents.

La Russa went on to say he "absolutely would not allow" one of his players to sit during the National Anthem.
