Gladys Knight Wants Name Removed From Restaurant
The son of singer Gladys Knight is fighting to keep his mom's name on his restaurants.
She filed a lawsuit last month to have her name removed from the chicken and waffles chain owned by Shanga Hankerson.
The "Atlanta Journal Constitution" says he responded last Thursday, saying she lacks the mental capacity to make that decision.
Hankerson is accused of failing to pay sales taxes to the state.
