Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg "Kaepernick Protest Dumb and Disrespectful"
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says athletes kneeling during the national anthem is "dumb and disrespectful."
Ginsburg tells Yahoo News' Katie Couric "it's a terrible thing to do," but she wouldn't arrest anyone for doing it. San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick has knelt for the anthem since the beginning of the NFL preseason in protest to police misconduct and racial inequality. Several athletes across the sports world have followed suit.
The Supreme Court justice says there are no laws against being arrogant and stupid, but takes issue with "the point of view they are expressing when they" kneel.
