Judge Considers Mistrial In Rose Rape Case
A Los Angeles judge is considering whether to declare a mistrial in a high-profile civil rape case.
Lawyers for New York Knicks' guard Derrick Rose asked for a mistrial today over several text messages, allegedly sent from the female accuser to Rose before the alleged rape. The attorneys claim the messages support the NBA star's story and that they were withheld from the defense. The judge called the situation "careless" and told the plaintiff's legal team to prove on Wednesday that the texts had been disclosed.
Rose and two of his friends are being sued by Rose's former girlfriend for allegedly drugging and gang-raping her in Los Angeles in 2013
