Obama Visits NC A&T For "A Conversation With The President"
President Obama is looking back on some of the times he felt defeated as President.
Speaking on ESPN's "The Undefeated," the President pointed to his first debate with Mitt Romney in 2012, which was widely seen as a victory for Romney. After feeling the weight of that defeat, he said he was inspired to pull things together for the next debate because of the people across the country "pouring their hearts and souls" into his campaign. Obama also spoke about activism in sports, pointing to two of his childhood heroes, Muhammad Ali and Arthur Ashe.
Obama said both managed to bring about change, but had dramatically different styles.
