The 75th Annual McDonald's Magic City Classic Presented by Coca Cola lived up to all the hype in front of 70,000 rowdy fans!
Both Alabama State and Alabama A&M's fanbases came out in droves to witness what might be one of the more memorable Magic Classics in years. The game between the two in state rivals is usually a close game but who would've thought we would see such an offensive game; the two teams combined for nearly 1,000 total yards but in the end it was Alabama A&M that came up victorious in overtime 42-41.
Alabama A&M is now 2-1 in Magic City Classics under third year head coach James Spady.
The Bulldogs now lead the all-time series 40-37-3.
In case you missed it here's the HBCU Report's sideline view of De'Angelo Ballard's 18-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Dorsey in overtime. Nick Carden came in to kick the extra point gave the Bulldogs the victory in the Magic City Classic.
