Bombay Sapphire Gin Recalled For High Alcohol Content

You don't often see liquor recalled because of too much alcohol. But health officials in Canada say that's the case for a batch of Bombay Sapphire gin with nearly double the alcohol content stated on the label.

The Ontario Liquor Control Board said the improperly diluted product was bottled with an alcohol volume of 77 percent. The label lists the alcohol content at 40 percent. Bacardi which distributes the brand said the affected product was only sold in Canada.

No illnesses have been reported as a result of drinking the high-test gin.
