Uncle Ben Carson "Poverty Is A State Of Mind"
Usually this would be where I'd lay off into Ben Carson for sounding stupid but I decided to leave this right here for the readers of SNB...
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson is raising eyebrows for saying poverty is a, quote, "state of mind."
In a radio interview, the former neurosurgeon explained that someone with the "right mindset" could have everything taken away from them, and they would work their way back to the top. He added that someone with the "wrong mindset" could have everything in the world given to them and they would "work their way right back to the bottom."
As for how someone develops the "wrong mindset," he blamed that on bad parenting habits.
