Canelo And GGG Fight To A Draw!
The much anticipated middleweight title fight between Gennady Golovkin and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez ended in a draw in Las Vegas.
Judge Dave Moretti scored the 12-round fight 115-113 for Golovkin, Adalaide Byrd scored it 118-110 for Alvarez and Don Trella had it 114-114.
Golovkin, who remains unbeaten at 37-0-1, will retain his WBC, IBF, and IBO middleweight crowns. Alvarez dropped to 49-1-2 with his only loss coming at the hands of Floyd Mayweather.
While there's nothing in stone SNB believes fight fans should be on the look out for a Cinco de Mayo rematch!!!
