The deadliest shooting in U.S. history is leaving at least 50 people dead and more than 200 others injured.
An armed man opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay and Casino into a crowd of concert-goers during a country music festival Sunday night on the Las Vegas Strip. The sole gunman, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was later killed by police.
A federal law enforcement official said a cache of weapons was found inside the hotel room where Paddock died. Las Vegas Metropolitan police say they located a woman they believed was traveling with the gunman, but have determined she is not a person of interest in the shooting.
Authorities say the massacre has no known link to overseas terrorism or terror groups.
