Anheuser-Busch is sending barley seeds into space.
The brewer is launching the seeds December 4th onboard a SpaceX supply mission to the International Space Station.
The idea is to study how the seeds and key beer ingredient react in microgravity.
The company's ambitious goal is to eventually brew Budweiser on Mars but in the meantime, they're hoping to glean insights into barley production here on Earth.
