L.A. Naming Street After Barack Obama
The city of Los Angeles is naming a street after former president Barack Obama.
Mayor Eric Garcetti said on Twitter this week that the City Council voted to change Rodeo Road to Obama Boulevard. He said the new name will be a reminder to residents and visitors of Obama's legacy.
Rodeo Road is located near the city's Rancho Cienga Park in an area known as "president's row" because of its numerous streets named after presidents.
