Woods: Nike's Ad Is A "Beautiful Spot"
Tiger Woods is endorsing Nike's new ad narrated by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, calling it a "beautiful spot." Woods made the comments while playing in the BMW Championship outside Philadelphia. Woods explained Nike is trying to get out ahead of it and trying to do something special. Woods adds Nike didn't talk with him about the ad before its release. The ad features Kaepernick with the slogan "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything." Kaepernick has become a controversial figure since 2016 when he decided to protest racial injustice by kneeling during the national anthem.
