Ashanti has canceled an upcoming concert after only selling 24 tickets.
The singer was supposed to perform at an event at Stony Brook University in New York later this month. The school said in a statement that it had originally booked Teyana Taylor, but she canceled last-minute. Ashanti is currently working on a new album with rapper Ja Rule.
