The Lion King Roars Into Theaters
Disney's The Lion King is the top movie in North America. The live-action drama features the voices of Beyonce, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and James Earl Jones. It picks up after Simba's evil uncle, Scar, kills his dad, Mufasa, while trying to seize the throne.
The young lion returns to the screen as an adult destined to take back his homeland, with the help of some friends. The Lion King earned 185-million-dollars in its debut weekend in the U.S. and Canada.
