Suicide Attempts By Black Teens On The Rise
A new report is warning that suicide attempts in up among black teenagers in America.
Researchers from NYU looked at data from 1991 through 2017 and found there was a 73-percent rise in suicide attempts for black teens, especially among females. Meantime, it also showed the rate went down seven-percent with white teenagers.
It also found that one-in-five teens of any race has thought about suicide.
