Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams says she would be Joe Biden's best pick for running mate.

Abrams told The Atlantic she would expand the former vice president's appeal to a broader base in a must-win election. She noted her successful campaign to engage communities in her narrow loss in Georgia's 2018 governor's race. Biden pledged last month to pick a woman as his running mate and Abrams' name is among those frequently being floated.
