German Doctors Pose Nude To Protest PPE Shortages

A web site featuring photos of purported German medical workers is calling attention to the working conditions and the dire need for personal protective equipment needed by workers during the pandemic.

The website shows photos of apparently nude people, most of whom are obscured by medical equipment and other props, including stethoscopes and toilet paper. "We are your GPs. To be able to treat you safely, we need protective gear. When we run out of the little we have, we look like this," the organizers say in a statement on the website.

There's more than 159-thousand confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Germany.
