Distributors Are Dumping Thousands Of Beer Kegs

Beer fans will be crying when they find out how much of their favorite beverage is being poured down the drain in Arizona.
Liquor distributors are having to dump millions of dollars worth of beer as expiration dates pass. Companies like Crescent Crown expect to dispose of about 20-thousand kegs that were meant for now-closed restaurants and bars.
Unfortunately, the extra kegs can't be sold to customers outside of licensed retailers for legal reasons. Hensley Beverage Company is deciding to return unused beer to breweries instead.
