Southern's Dillon Named Stats Perform FCS National Freshman Player of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill.- Southern University football student-athlete Kobe Dillon has been named the Stats Perform FCS National Freshman Player of the Week.


Dillon set Southern's single-game rushing record with 267 yards as the Jaguars defeated Arkansas Pine-Bluff 34-7 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action this past weekend.


He rushed for touchdowns of 40, 45 and 75 yards, and averaged 19.1 yards per rush attempt.
