Americans in nine states have a chance to vote Nov. 8 on expanding legal access to marijuana. Collectively, the ballot measures amount to the closest the U.S. has come to a national referendum on the drug. Marijuana Usage Increasingly Ok
More Americans are increasingly seeing little harm in marijuana use. A new study in the journal "Lancet Psychiatry" found that since 2002 more Americans are using some form of pot and finding it's not causing serious problems. Fifteen-percent said using marijuana once or twice a week had no risk whatsoever, a 10-percent jump.
