The Chicago City Council's Black Caucus is threatening to push back the sale of recreational marijuana in the city. Caucus chairman Alderman Jason Ervin is planning to introduce an ordinance today that would prevent legal marijuana sales until July 1st, 2020. New Jersey Could Be Next To Join America's "Pot Party"
A New Jersey lawmaker, a Democrat, has introduced legislation to legalize marijuana in the Garden State, despite vocal opposition from Governor Christie. Senator Nicholas Scutari unveiled the bill at a news conference in the state capital Monday afternoon.

Bob Marley's youngest son, Damian Marley, is going to turn a former California State Prison into a pot farm. "Billboard" is reporting the Jamaican reggae artist has partnered with a company called Ocean Grown Extracts to convert the Claremont Custody Center in Coalinga, California.
