Russell Simmons Refutes Assault Claims
Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons is denying an accusation of sexual assault.
"The Los Angeles Times" reports that model Keri Claussen Khalighi claims Simmons forced her into performing a sex act on him in 1991 when she was 17-years-old. Simmons says anything that happened between them was consensual.
She says Simmons and director Brett Ratner took her back to Simmons' New York apartment to show her a music video they were working on.
She claims it didn't take long for Simmons to start making unwanted advances toward her.
Ratner is facing separate allegations of sexual misconduct.
